A Nicer (and More Frugal) Oven Cleaner

Lose the caustic cleaner.


Oven cleaner is a great invention, but it tends to scare a lot of people with its hard-core caustic-ness. You can make your own version by placing a half inch of ammonia in a glass baking dish and leaving it in the oven (cold) overnight. Less caustic, and certain more frugal than traditional oven cleaner.
