Alternative to Canned Broth
Stock alternatives.When recipes call for beef, chicken, vegetable or other broths/stocks, try to use a low-salt base or bullion cube instead of the canned broths you can find at the supermarket. You’ll save a lot of money doing this, but definitely keep an eye on the labels, for some of these contain a sizable amount of sodium.
