Avoid Credit Card Cash Advances
The day I paid $10 on a $20 advance was the last day I looked at my credit card and thought ‘cash’.You probably have the ability to take a cash advance on your credit card, but avoid this if at all possible, particularly if you have another loan avenue open to you. The rates that most credit cards charge for cash advances is considerably more than what you’ll pay for purchases (a high enough rate to start with!).
