Avoid Plastic Book Covers
Save money and encourage creativity.Don’t waste money on plastic covers for your kids’ textbooks. They may feature the latest “in thing,” which means that they’ll probably be horribly dated and in need of replacement in 3 months. A better option is to go with plain brown grocery bags, which can be easily and cheaply replaced and provide a blank “canvas” for your children to decorate as they see fit. Other cover options include newspaper and old gift wrapping paper.
