Let Your Dryer Do Double Duty
Re-use dryer heat.
Instead of venting your electric dryer outside and wasting all that heat, try venting it inside. You can buy special capture devices to plug into the end of the hose to catch all the lint, or attach nylon hose to the end of it. Note: you can’t do this with a gas dryer due to the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning.
