Stay With Family and Friends While on Vacation

One easy way to drastically cut down on vacation costs.One way to save on vacations is to target family and friends that live “away” and stay with them. A couple of things to keep in mind with this: offering to reciprocate and put them up in the future is always a nice quid pro quo; and you probably shouldn’t target the same family or friends more than once, unless you’re really sure they love having you and you are always welcome (as they’ll politely say whilst pushing you out the front door). Also be wary of those family and friends that live in high tourist areas, such as Nantucket or Orlando. They probably get a lot of such requests, and may be sick of them.
