Storing Fresh Ginger

Nothing beats the taste of fresh ginger, but it always seems to spoil before you can use it all. Sound familiar? Try this.Fresh ginger is wonderful in any number of dishes, but how many times have you bought a root only to have it turn green in the refrigerator? You can keep fresh ginger longer by peeling it, wrapping it in plastic wrap and storing it in the freezer. Anytime you want that fresh ginger taste, you can easily grate the correct amount from your frozen stash.
