A Step for Dealing With a New Rag
Prepare new rags before their first use.Before relegating a rag to the rag bin, take a moment to put a hem on it. The rag will last longer, and you won’t be filling up lint filters or plumbing needlessly with rag ravellings. Plus, the rag will just be easier to deal with (no twisted ravellings to untangle… which doesn’t seem like it’d be a huge problem, until you add 20 more similar rags to the mix).
