Abandon Ye Dryer
Not using your dryer is the best way to save money with it.You can save a considerable amount of money every month by foregoing the dryer and air-drying your clothes. In good weather hang out everything. In bad, try to rig up some sort of a rack system in your laundry room. In the winter this latter will also help to add humidity back into your house. Even if you just air-dry large items such as jeans and towels, you will save yourself several dryer loads and the cost associated with running them.
