AC Strategies

AC in a vehicle is a wonderful thing when the temperatures soar, but be aware that using the air conditioner can greatly reduce your gas mileage.

The best way to use a car air conditioner is to set it at the lowest setting that makes you comfortable, and turn it off when you’ve reached that comfort level. The vehicles fan will continue to circulate the cool air for some time, and you can continue to add “spurts” of coolness as the air heats up.
