Best Time To Water Garden

Morning, night, mid-day? When is the best time to water outdoor plants?

When should you best water your garden? While we’ve run into those who warn against doing it at night for fear that the cold, wet plants will be more susceptible to fungal attacks, we still think that morning OR night is preferable to mid-day. When you water mid-day, the sun will evaporate much of the water before it has a chance to reach down to the plant’s roots.
