Bored? Try Board Games

Get more fun from some of your favorite boardgames.Break out the board games! If you don’t have that many, try to borrow or trade with a neighbor or friend — most families have closets full of games they never use. You can kick it up a notch by having a tournament within the family, or inviting family and friends. One good way to do this is to find others who have the same game, then run several boards at the same time, gradually working down until you have one winner. Simple prizes will depend on the age, but you can even go with 1st, 2nd and 3rd place ribbons that you can cheaply pick up or make yourself.
