Burning Off Excess Engine Carbon Deposits

If you find that carbon is building up in your car’s carborator, here’s an inexpensive but effective way to combat it.


Disconnect the vacuum tube from the intake manifold and substitute it with another tube leading to a container of hydrogen peroxide. Let this be drawn into the idling motor, and the excess oxygen will burn out any built-up carbon deposits in the engine.
