Church: Not Just For Lectures Anymore
Your local churches can be a great source of free and low-cost activities.Keep an eye on your local church for a wide variety of free/inexpensive activities. Some of the things your church may sponsor include potluck dinners, picnics and other outings, performances, special activities for seniors, youths and singles… depending on the church, the list can be nearly endless. To get even more out of these sorts of things, offer to volunteer to help.
