Computer Self-SetUp
DIY wins another frugal battle.Avoid offers from companies where you buy your computer from them and they come out and set it up for you for an additional fee. Computers have reached the point where they come pre-loaded and color coded with instructions, so you should be able to handle it yourself. If it still looks like something from an alien planet, poll friends or relatives for help. Those who know can probably get it up and running in minutes and thrive on their geekdom.
