Egg Shells in the Garden

Egg shells can provide nutrients and keep away pests.Two uses for crushed egg shells in the garden: to keep away snails, and to provide extra nutrients to roses. To use, simply crush up the shells fairly fine and sprinkle around the base of the plants that you wish to protect or give a boost to.
