Electric Stove Strategy

A tip to getting the most out of your electric stove.Cook with an electric stove? Unlike a gas range, electric stoves work through the use of heated elements, elements that tend to cool quite slowly after you cut power to them. You can use this to your advantage by shutting off the stove (or stovetop burner) several minutes before the food is scheduled to be done. The elements will start to cool, but still be hot enough to finish cooking your food.
