Get In The Driver’s Seat With Taxis

Research local taxis before getting taken for a ride.

Don’t get taken to the cleaners by the local taxi drivers (unless that’s where you were planning on going anyhow). Ask at your hotel for estimated costs of how much cab rides to various places will cost. In some instances you can even try to haggle with the driver before even getting into the taxi over price.
