Is High Grade Gas Necessary?

It’s certainly more expensive, but is it worth it?


Unless your car paperwork specifically calls for it, don’t fall into the trap of buying higher grade gas because you think it will benefit your vehicle. Most vehicles these days are designed to work very well with regular unleaded, and higher grades will result in few benefits while robbing you of several dollars each and every time you go to fill your tank.
