It’s Not Garbage, It’s Storage

Recycle food packaging.Just about everything that comes through your kitchen is packaged in some manner. Instead of throwing all that packaging away, try to come up with ways to reuse it. Old TV dinner trays can be used to heat up food in the microwave. Milk jugs can be cup and used as funnels. Smaller plastic bottles make nice starter pots for the garden. Pickle, baby food and other jars can be used to store anything from nails to buttons. Coffee and sour cream lids can be used on the stove for spoon rests, or as separators when you make hamburger patties and freeze them. Take a good look at something before you toss it and imagine if it could serve a better purpose than taking up landfill space.
