Keep a Child’s Tastes in Mind

Make sure frugal clothes will be worn.Clothes that aren’t worn are a waste of money. Talk with your child about what he or she likes. Catalogs are good for this, not only for getting a feel for what style the child likes, but even more importantly what colors he or she enjoys. Your color choices may not be your child’s.
