Keep Credit Cards in a Lock Box

You’ll use them less if they aren’t readily available.Having a credit card for emergency purposes is generally a good idea, but only if that is all it is used for. Avoid using credit cards for general purposes such as shopping, etc. You’ll tend to be considerably more frugal watching the cash leave your wallet or the total shrink in your check book register.
