Keep Marshmallows Fresh

Avoid stale marshmallows with this tip. There is little more unappetizing than a marshmallow that has turned hard. To keep them from reaching this state, try storing them in the freezer. Once thawed, they come out fresh!

Thanks a bunch! I love to roast marshmallows when we grill outside. I recently found some jumbo sized marshmallows (3 times normal size) and do not want to waste the rest left in the bag. As noted above, I put the bag in the freezer. This worked – and now I will just take out what I need and put back in freezer. Great tip!
