Keep The Freezer Full
Freezers will work most effectively when they are full.
If you don’t have food to fill them up, take soda or water bottles, fill them 2/3 full of water and allow them to freeze. You’ll also have the added bonus of a ready supply of ice packs for picnicking and camping.
