Keep Waterbeds Well-Insulated

Otherwise you’ll have a big wet space heater.


A waterbed can really suck up the electricity (one source we found claimed that a waterbed heater can use more electricity than a water heater and refrigerator combined). If you really must have one, keep it well insulated during the day with heavy comforters on the top and sides.
