Let Your Lawn Be Your Mulch

Don’t let grass clippings go to waste. If your mower is equipped with a grass catcher, you have a cheap and convenient source of mulch. Simply pile the captured clippings around flowers or vegetables to cut down on both weeds and the amount that you’ll have to water. Plus the clippings will help to enrich the soil.
