Overbooking: Doing The Airline a Favor For Free Flights

Fairly flexible when it comes to when you get to a destination?

Consider open yourself up to helping an airline when it overbooks. Occasionally an airline will overbook its flights and ask for volunteers to give up their seat. This is an easy way to get free flights, particularly if you don’t have to be somewhere at a specific time. If you decide to try this route, try to schedule your flight for Monday morning or Friday afternoon, the times when most overbookings occur.
