Possible Source for Woodchip Compost

Looking for woodchips? This source is certainly worth a shot.Call your local utility to look into the possibility of getting free wood chips from them. Utilities work year round to clear brush and limbs from its poles and power lines, and these are invariably ground up in a wood chipper. While the utility may have some form of recycling/composting plan in place for this wealth of wood chips, chances are they will be more than happy to let you have some if you come pick it up. Never hurts to ask. :-)
