Prepare When Selling Electrical Appliances
Chances are good you’ll have electrical appliances at your sale. If so, you’ll want to following this tip.
The first question you’ll always get when it comes to electrical appliances at a yard sale: “Does it work?” You can short circuit this question by making available an outlet or extension cord so that potential buyers can plug in that vacuum or stereo system to see how well (or even if) it works. Note though: when not in use, make sure any extension cords are coiled up and out of the way of browsing feet.
