2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup powdered milk
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/3 cup meat drippings
1 egg – beaten
1/2 cup ice water

Combine the flour, milk, brown sugar and garlic powder. Cut the meat drippings into the flour mixture until you form a grainy mix the size of peas. Beat in the egg, then slowly beat in the water just to point where you can form a ball with the dough. Roll the dough out onto a lightly floured surface, roll out to about 1/2″ thick and use your favorite cookie cutters cut out cookie shapes. Bake on a greased cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.

You can store these in the refrigerator (1 month) or freezer (1 year).
