Recipe – Cat Mackerel Treats

Note: the brewer’s yeast in here can help to keep fleas off kitties, as well as provide fatty acids and B vitamins for glossy coats and to help with feline nervous systems.

1/2 cup canned mackerel – drained, crumbled
1 cup whole grain bread crumbs
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 egg, beaten
1/2 teaspoon brewer’s yeast

Combine all ingredients and mix well, then drop by the spoonful onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 8 minutes. When cool, store in the refrigerator (3 weeks) or freezer (1 year).
