Rescuing Overbaked Cakes

Try this tip before condemning a cake that’s spent too long in the oven.Leave a cake in the oven a bit too long? Overbaked cakes can be easily “rescued” by drizzling a combination of sugar syrup and some form of liqueur (brandy, Grand Marnier, Kahlua, etc.) over it. To avoid such rescues in the future, invest in a good, inexpensive timer. It’ll prove very handy and pay for itself in no time!
