Uses for Lemons

Lemons can have almost unlimited uses in the kitchen.

Lemon halves shouldn’t be thrown away, but rather chopped up onto wedges and placed in the freezer. From here they can be used in many ways. One is to use them as ice cubes in drinks — your guests will think you very clever for this one. You can also use them to get rid of kitchen or microwave smells such as fish. Just boil a few lemon wedges for a few minutes on the stove (or run wedges/water for a few minutes in the microwave) and rank smells will be replaced with the refreshing aroma of citrus.
