When (Not) To Preheat Oven

You need not preheat your oven for every type of food.Preheating your oven is a requirement for baking, but that is really the only time you need to preheat it. Foods that are broiled or roasted can be added to the oven cold, although you may have to adjust their cooking time by a few minutes accordingly.
