Barley with Mushrooms and Green Onions
Use your slow cooker to make this nutritious barley recipe.
- 1 cup barley
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 3 to 4 green onions, thinly sliced (about 1/2 cup)
- 4 to 6 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons butter
Combine all ingredients and cook on low for 4-5 hours.
