Chinese Chicken
A simple recipe with rich, Asian flavors.
- 3 pounds chicken, skinned
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup water
- 1/3 cup low sodium soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh ginger
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 medium cloves garlic, minced
Place half the onion in the crockpot, followed by the chicken. Combine the rest of the ingredients and pour over the chicken. Top off with the rest of the onions and cook on low for 6-8 hours. Serves 6.
