Rice Pudding
This hearty dessert can be ready within 2 hours.
- 2 1/2 cups cooked rice
- 1 1/2 cups scalded milk
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tbsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 3 tablespoons soft butter
Combine all ingredients and pour into a buttered baking dish that can fit in the crockpot. Cook on high for 2 hours, stirring frequently during the first half-hour cooking time.
