BBQ Beef and Beans
Make this as hot as you’d like by choosing your favorite shade of picante sauce.
- 1 1/2 cups finely chopped onion
- 1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup picante sauce
- 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 pound round steak, London broil, or flank steak, trimmed and cut into narrow strips
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 cans (15 ounces each) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
Combine all ingredients in crockpot, stir, and cook on high for 1 hour. Turn crockpot to low and cook for an additional 5-6 hours.
