Beef Goulash
Serve this on buttered noodles tossed with poppy seeds.
- 1 to 1 1/2 pounds beef stew meat steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 2 small cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons sweet paprika
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup sour cream
Combine all ingredients in the crockpot except for the flour, water and sour cream. Cook on low for 8-9 hours. Combine the last three ingredients and stir into crockpot, then turn on high and cook for an additional 15 minutes or until slightly thickened.
