Barbecued Pork Shoulder

The easiest way to do a crockpot BBQ’d pork. This is great served on any kind of a roll with coleslaw.

  • 1 pork shoulder
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • salt and pepper lightly
  • barbecue sauce

Cook the shoulder, water and salt and pepper on high in a crockpot for 1 hour. Turn the crockpot to low and cook for an additional 7-9 hours. Remove the shoulder and discard the juices. Shred the meat and return it to the crockpot, mixing in a little barbecue sauce. Cook for an additional 1 hour on high, then serve.
