Cabbage and Bratwurst
Honey-mustard dressing gives this dish a nice taste.
- links bratwurst sausage
- 1 medium head cabbage, coarsely shredded
- 1 large onion
- 1/2 cup creamy honey-mustard dressing
- 1/4 cup applesauce or apple cider
- 1 to 2 teaspoons caraway seed
- 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
- salt and pepper to taste
Brown the sausage in a skillet with a little oil, drain, then cut into bite-size pieces. Add the sausage and all other ingredients to the crockpot and cook on low for 8-10 hours.
