De-Camouflage Your Garden Tools

Because your hoe should not necessarily blend in with the background…

We’re not sure why, but tools such as shovels, hoes and pruning shears seem by and large to come to you “camouflaged.” We aren’t knocking the lovely shades of green, brown and gray that enable these handy items to disappear in the high grass or lurk in wait for the decisive blade of a lawn mower, but we do find that applying a little bright oil-based paint to the handles of tools can help to keep them both from disappearing and meeting an unfortunate and grinding end at the hands of your riding mower.
