Keep Broken Rakes Out of the Landfill

A rake’s usefulness doesn’t end at a break.


We’ve mentioned before about using broken rake handles (and shovel handles, hoe handles… you get the idea) as sturdy tomato stakes in the garden. But how about the head of the rake? This can find a second life as a support for its fellow tools in the garage. Secure the rake head to the garage wall, prongs pointing out, and use it to hang garden hand tools or larger handled tools from.
