Quick Fix for Garden Tools

This isn’t a permanent fix, but it will allow you to finish what you were doing until you get the chance to replace the tool.

You’re hoeing along, or raking soil, when the handle suddenly breaks. You can do a temporary fix to the tool with an automotive hose clamp (a circular clamp with a single screw that you can use to tighten or loosen the clamp). The tool won’t have the same strength as before, but it’s a quick fix in a pinch.
