Target Yard Sale Locations For Specific Items
It’s not just the wealth of a neighborhood that can affect what you’ll find at a yard sale.
Sales held at specific locations will usually yield much different kinds of items. For example, yard sales held at retirement communities probably won’t be a boon to those shopping for good used children’s clothing. Antiques, well, that’s another matter entirely. And if you are looking for children’s clothing, or toys or furniture, note whether the backyard has a swing set or if there are bikes in the garage as you drive by a sale. If so, you’ll probably find a large number of items for kids.
