Winter Houseplant Watering

For those who live in the snowy north.

Save water in the wintertime by shoveling some snow into a container and bringing it inside to melt. Use this water to give your houseplants a drink, or if you want to kick your frugality up a notch, pour it in the back of your toilet tank and use the snow water to flush your toilet.
