Buy Yourself a Crockpot

In terms of convenience, it can’t be beat.

Without a doubt, the best part about a crockpot is that you can get it going in the morning and come home to a ready meal at night. You can cook just about anything in them, and they are particularly well-suited to cheaper cuts of meat that just don’t do well when you try dry methods of cooking them like grilling. Put a cheap roast in a slow cooker and in 8-9 hours it’ll be melting in your mouth.

We have several hundred crockpot recipes on this site for everything from chicken to bean recipes. Just check out the navigation bar under Cooking and Food for a complete list.
