Plan Out Your Meals Before Grocery Shopping

Take your grocery list to the next level.

When making out a grocery list, we all approach it with some form of an idea as what we will be preparing for meals the next week. Spend a little more time than you generally do giving some thought to meals next time you’re whipping up a list. How many meals will you make, and how many in your family will be at each one? If you’re roasting a chicken one night, can you use the leftovers to make a soup or stew the next? If hamburgers one night, could you save by buying ground meat in bulk and making a meatloaf or tacos another night? Make your list with the local sales circulars in hand to get ideas and steer your grocery dollar in cheaper directions and get recipe ideas.
