Target Grocery Store Meat Aisle “Specials”

Carefully browsing through this section can yield big savings.

Restaurants do it all the time – today’s specials – and to a large extent the meat department of your local grocery store does for the same reasons. Most meat departments will have a special section set up with those items which have expiration dates that are fast coming up. These items are still good (we still recommend being a bit more wary than normal when picking through them), with the caveat that you’ll need to come up with a plan of action to use them fairly quickly, as they will be expiring soon.
