Clean Your Air Conditioner
If you absolutely can’t do without an air conditioner, make sure it is running as efficiently as possible.
One way to do this is to regularly clean it. Dust can gather around the fan and compressor units, causing the unit to work harder to keep you cool. Working harder, of course, means more money out of your wallet. You should be able to easy remove the front panel (there should be a series of screws that hold it in place) and open it up enough to get a vacuum hose inside it.
